Alexi Shell is a Paris & London based artist, DJ and producer crafting immersive worlds through experimental pop, ambient textures and club-influenced electronics. Blending ethereal vocals, aquatic soundscapes and euphoric pulses, her music unfolds as both an emotional and transformative experience.
Drawing inspiration from the dreamlike atmospheres of Enya, the futuristic emotionality of Danny L Harle and the theatrical mysticism of Mylène Farmer, Alexi Shell creates a universe that is intimate, cinematic and deeply performative.
Her work explores mythology, marine creatures and fantasy-inspired narratives to reflect on identity, marginality and queer experiences.
Originally trained at the School of Fine Arts, she first approached music through performance and visual art. This multidisciplinary background still shapes her live shows today, where voice, synthesizers and staging merge into hybrid performances somewhere between concert, ritual and installation.
Her debut album, Sirens, released in 2023, introduced a sonic world balancing aquatic melancholy with cathartic energy. She is currently working on a new project leaning toward a more direct and euphoric pop writing, while preserving the immersive and narrative dimension at the core of her work.
Alongside her live performances, Alexi Shell has become a distinctive figure within Paris’ queer nightlife scene as a DJ. Her sets move between emotional club music, rave influences and pop hybrids, always seeking tension, release and collective euphoria.
